The volcano is located on Biliran Island off the western coast of Leyte Island.
Hot springs, bubbling pool and thermal areas are at the volcano.
The only recorded eruption at the volcano occurred on 26th September 1939.
Ashfall was measured at Caibiran 12 km to the east.
