Calatrava Volcano is located in central Spain near Ciudad Real. The volcano contains lake-filled maars. Fumarolic activity was recorded at the volcano in the 16th-18th centuries.

On 23rd February 2015 a magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred 110 km ENE of the volcano.
