Carlisle is a steep stratovolcano in central Aleutian Islands.
The volcano is possibly composed of two closely spaced volcanoes.

No geologic studies have been conducted on the volcano.

1987 Eruption
An eruption possibly occurred at Carlisle volcano on 16th November 1987, when pilots reported an ash plume rising to 2,500 m altitude near the volcano.
