Chirip Volcano is located in central Iturup Island, Kurile Island. The volcano consists of two peaks Chirip Bogdan Khmelnitskii. The volcano lies in the southern Kurile islands, 230 km north of Hokkiado, Japan.

Chirip volcano has a shallow summit crater, partially filled by a small lake.
