Harras of Dhamar volcano is located 100 km SE of Sana'a the capital of Yemen. The volcano consists of stratovolcanoes, cones, and lava flows extending 80 km east of the town of Dhamar.

Possible explosive activity occurred in 1937. This was the most recent eruption in the Arabian Peninsula.
