Farallon volcano is located in the northern Mariana Islands. The volcano has constructed a 2 km wide island with a central cone and small caldera.

Both summit and flank vents have been active at Farallon de Pajaros during historical time. Flank fissures have produced lava flows which formed platforms along the coast.

1992 Activity
Vigorous fuming was present on 13th May 1992.

1990 Activity
Vigorous fuming occurred in early August 1990.

1981 Activity
Fuming and discolored water were observed at the volcano on 16th July 1981.
