Ililabalekan volcano is located in the south of Lembata Island, 58 km east of Flores, Indonesia. The volcano consists of a steep well-formed cone with a parasitic crater on SE slope at elevation of 560 m. There are four craters and a central lava dome. In 1931 solfatara were observed at three locations which emitted suffocating gases.
