Khodutkinsky volcano is located in southern Kamchatka at the NW base of Khodutka volcano. It is classified as a separate volcano because its different composition to its neighbour.

Khodutkinsky consists of two coalesced craters, 0.9 and 0.6 km in diameter.

A 900 m wide maar crater is located at the base of Khodutkinsky volcano. It was formed 2800 years ago and erupted 1 cubic km of rhyolite-dacite pumice pyroclastics.
