Lava Lake - John Seach

Lava lakes are eruptions where lava stays molten inside a crater.
There is no net eruption of lava, but the event is caused by the upper part of a convection column being visible from the surface.

Erta Ale, Ambrym, Erebus, Kilauea, Nyiragongo.
