Nukumanu (Tasman) Island - John Seach
North Solomons Province, Papua New Guinea

Nukumanu Island is the most isolated island in Papua New Guinea.
Nukumanu Island is 400 km east of Bougainville, and the Polynesian inhabitants
have close ties to Ontong Java Atoll in the Solomon Islands.

The western side of the atoll has six passages through the reef, with the northernmost having an anchorage inside a lagoon.
