| Vanuatu contains
some of the world's great erupting volcanoes. Ambrym volcano is famous
for the lava lakes which regularly appear in the summit craters. Yasur
volcano is one of the world's most active with Strombolian eruptions occurring
many times per hour. Lopevi volcano is a perfect volcanic cone, located
in a beautiful South Pacific setting. Gaua volcano is one of the world's
most colourful and scenic, with multi-coloured summit and a crater lake
which creates an unforgettable landscape. Ambae Volcano erupted in December
2005 after being dormant for 120 years.
TRIP DETAILS: Participants
arrange for their own transport to the designated country, and join John
on location for a personal tour of the volcano. Volcano tour fees are payable
