Morne Watt Volcano is located in SE Dominica, Caribbean. The volcano is part of Morne Trois Pitons National Park. A major eruption occurred at the volcano 1300 years ago, producing pyroclastic flows.

1997 eruption
A small phreatic explosion occurred in July 1997, when ash fell in the Valley of Desolation.

1880 eruption
A large phreatic explosion occurred in the Valley of Desolation thermal area NE of Morne Watt in 1880.
