Wau

Wau is a hill station inland from
Lae.
Wau was the site of a goldrush in
the 1920's - 1930's.
Koranga volcano is located a few
km NW of the town.
McAdam National Park is about 10
km NW. It was set up to preserve hoop and klinkii pines as well as birds.
